The Sahilab Edge Agent is a lightweight installation that sits inside your lab — not in a distant data center — and talks to your analyzers directly over the same TCP/serial connection your instruments already use. Orders go out to the analyzer, results come back over HL7 or ASTM framing, and everything is queued locally the moment it's captured.
A persistent connection relays that traffic to your Sahilab dashboard in real time. If the connection drops — common in tier-2 and tier-3 towns — the agent keeps working from its own local cache and syncs the instant connectivity returns. No result is ever lost waiting on a modem.

Will Sahilab work with my existing analyzer?+
If your analyzer speaks HL7 or ASTM over a TCP or serial connection, the Edge Agent can integrate with it. Tell us your make and model and we'll confirm before you commit to anything.
How does the Partner network actually work?+
Your lab (the Tenant) can onboard collection centers or referring clinics as Partners. Each Partner gets its own login, its own pricing and credit limit, and can configure its own payment collection — while everything still rolls up into your own reporting.
What happens if my internet goes down?+
The Edge Agent keeps talking to your analyzers and queues results in a local cache on-site. The moment your connection is back, everything syncs to the cloud automatically — no re-entry, no lost results.
Do I have to choose between a payment gateway and UPI?+
No. Every Tenant and every Partner can enable a connected payment gateway, Direct UPI, or both at the same time — independently of each other. A collection center can start with zero-fee UPI alone and add a gateway later.
How does Direct UPI reconciliation work, since there's no webhook?+
A bare UPI payment has no automatic confirmation back to Sahilab, so whoever collects it marks the order as "Paid" and can optionally note the UTR/reference number from the transaction — the same manual reconciliation step Sahilab already uses for bank transfers at the platform level.
Is my patient data kept private?+
Yes. Sensitive credentials like your payment gateway tokens are encrypted at rest, and access to patient data is scoped by role — a Partner's own staff, for instance, can only ever see that Partner's own patients and orders.
